The Talent Strategist is responsible in managing development of workforce plans, long-term talent pipelines, and strategic recruitment programs and projects. Partner with business leaders to determine service line strategies, workforce planning and recruitment strategies to meet business needs.
Stay abreast of industry and employment trends to help the recruitment leadership team effectively anticipate and address near term changes that could impact applicant availability, sourcing, and recruiting. Partner with Talent Acquisition leaders, Talent Advisors and Sourcing Specialists to accurately support strategic recruitment programs and projects.
Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement talent strategies. Consultation to identify and process improve talent gaps due to industry and organizational changes and trends. Identify and develop strategies to build future talent pools. Partner with management, HR, talent acquisition and sourcing supervisors to support strategic programs and projects. Assess talent markets and collaborate with education department on program development needs.
Deep understanding of the recruitment function and industry trends. Knowledgeable of respective service line business needs and issues. Ability to manage multiple projects in an efficient and organized manner.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and high-caliber consultative skills, with the ability to develop close relations and establish trust. Maintain a strong understanding and ability to analyze market trends and make recommendations to close long-term staffing gaps. Use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to consult and influence.
Tracks the implementation of plans closely to ensure that desired outcomes are achieved. Plans, implements, and manages change in a variety of significant settings. Participates in brainstorming sessions to share new ideas and complete group tasks. Monitors the staffing marketplace and competitive environment. Implements long range Talent Acquisition programs, initiatives and issues within the organization. Collaborates with departmental associates and management. Clarifies and handles multiple concurrent and diverse activities. Advises on strategic HR operations planning within the organization. Workforce planning, forecasting and analytics.
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum three years talent acquisition or human resources experience required, healthcare experience preferred. Strong analytical, critical thinking and story-telling abilities.
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential and Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) Certification preferred within first six months in role.
