Job Summary

The Senior Director, Brand Strategy will drive the entire creative direction for the Sanford brand, develop strategies and oversee creative execution. Direct and lead the creative and enterprise brand teams to ensure that the culture, team, tools, processes, expectations and other elements support the strategic goals and objectives of the enterprise.

Implement a creative vision for multiple products and markets to develop innovative, creative and comprehensive marketing concepts and strategies that drive market share, and enhances the global brand, vision and reputation of the enterprise.

Collaborate with other marketing and communications leaders to plan, schedule and develop best-in-class creative solutions for all projects, and to communicate, execute and sustain cross-platform strategic brand initiatives.

Mentor employees on how to embrace challenges and develop creative solutions, and serve as the point of reference for all creative plans, and as a strategic partner to all departments to implement strategies for a better patient and employee experience.

Requires deep experience in creative ideation and executing innovative and integrated campaigns. Exhibits a passion for storytelling. Works well with others and facilitates a calm and collaborative working environment. Possesses a high regard for process and mentors others to do the same.

Exhibit exceptional leadership skills by empowering and inspiring employees. Works across the business in order to achieve shared goals. Displays a strong understanding and desire to build a global brand.

Work with finance on budgeting, forecasting and actual product cost analysis. Ensure high-quality, cost effective and timely production models.

Work on proactive solutions with vendors to ensure continuous improvement and the optimal production for new and existing branding concepts.


Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications or a related field required.

Ten years of creative design experience required. Minimum five years’ experience in leading a high functioning team. Experience developing and supporting a large, influential brand. Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills.
