JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates requests and production for marketing collateral. Creates marketing plans independently and in collaboration with Marketing Business Partners and Marketing Managers.

Collaborates with all marketing disciplines for marketing and sales plan recommendations and implementation. Tracks and records marketing and sales activities and results. Provides support on the planning and execution of marketing and sales events and programs. Provides support with the development and implementation of internal communications.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates action plans that ensure the accomplishment of responsibilities. Cites the different types of promotions and the advantages of each. Adapts interaction style to situations and people. Works with a specific marketing support application. Utilizes specific approaches and tools for gathering and collating competitive information. Recognizes changing demands and priorities, validates changes with management. Provides examples of the characteristics of effective business relationships. Participates in the development of promotional materials. Explains the importance of effective business communication. Demonstrates experience participating in productive collaborative processes.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

The position is to support the marketing and sales team for Good Samaritan Society. This role is high in executing on marketing and sales needs to include market-based projects, collateral materials, campaigns, analytics, etc. Position will spend their time working with digital/creative/communications/research to work projects through to completion, proofing things with stakeholders, or doing quick turns on straightforward updates/needs. Will also be responsible for answering direct questions from the field on how-to’s, or directing people to self-service needs, advising on best materials to support a business need.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business or related field.

Minimum of one year experience in a related position, or structured internship. Strong writing and communications skills required.
