Job Summary

Provides in-depth support and leads problem solving and implementation efforts for specific technology products or applications. Works with callers and other help desk technicians to resolve normal and unusual information system problems. Evaluates the efficiency of new tools and utilities, used for help desk services. Monitors and categorizes incoming calls, analyzes frequently-asked questions and defines procedures. Participates in the analysis of client-identified issues or problems which may require changes to procedures, standards or systems. Assist in taking calls and processing electronic requests as needed. Responsible for training new and existing staff on processes and procedures.

Ability to work under minimal supervision

Demonstrates strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment

Give specific directions to the help desk team members to enable them meet specific customer needs

Create good working relationship between members of the help desk team to ensure smooth flow of work, which improves overall performance

Has excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Has top notch skills in customer relations and customer management

Ability to pay attention to time management, as well as possessing analytical skills

Qualifications

Associate's degree required or five years' experience in a customer service role.

Help Desk Team Lead Certification preferred.
