Job Title: Waste Technician | Waste | Valley City, ND

Job Schedule: Full Time
Hours Per Shift: 10 hr
The Waste Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the medical waste destruction equipment according to standard operating procedures and government rules and regulations. Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly. Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions. Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment. Follows all additional standard operating procedures as defined.
Communicates the importance of customer needs/expectations and commits to resolving them. Processes limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy. Adapts interaction style to situations and people. Maintains the tools and equipment used for sterilization and disinfection, and keeps logs on device maintenance. Selects protective methods as required by particular working conditions. Performs at least 2-3 concurrent activities without reducing productivity. Provides first line of customer support. Delivers written and oral communication, responds to questions and concerns, and produce specific outcomes and impact.
May float between Valley City location and Fargo.
High School diploma or general education diploma (GED) equivalent required.
Forklift Certificate preferred.
