JOB SUMMARY

Provide leadership and expertise for clinical services to ensure optimum patient outcomes. Ensure quality health care delivery and strong financial performance in accordance to the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Sanford. Provide diagnostic assessment, onsite crisis assessment and crisis intervention, determining ongoing care according to level of clinical acuity, medical and psychosocial complexity, brief counseling, referrals, and education services across the continuum of care. Delivering comprehensive team-based health care with improved identification of needs, access to the right care at the right time in the right location, improving outcomes of care, and working to achieve the highest level of recovery and optimal wellness for our patients.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will provider clinical supervision and oversight to the Fargo/Moorhead integrated therapists embedded in the primary care clinic locations. Ability to provide clinical supervision towards independent licensure is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have and maintain current licensure to provide counseling/therapy services in the state of North Dakota. Minnesota licensure may be needed dependent on specific job site locations. Must be licensed LICSW. Must have a master's degree in Clinical Social Work or equivalent. Training and experience in psychiatric services and assessment of substance abuse issues is required. Must have three years of experience in a clinical setting, leadership experience preferred. Must have a thorough knowledge of diagnostic assessment and intervention, and a working knowledge of administrative and management techniques. Must have a good understanding of human behavior; be familiar with legal issues, ethical issues, insurance regulations and protocols for proper referral or application for various programs. The incumbent must also be knowledgeable in medical care and emergency services. Must be comfortable providing coverage across all potential age populations.
