-New service line to have monitoring of patients take place at a centralized location.
- Variable shifts – looking for a variety of full-time and part-time for all shifts (no PRN at this time); 4hr, 8hr, or 12hr shifts available (7a-7p, 7p-7a, 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a, 3p-7p, or 7p-11p); EOW/EOH rotation; pay is hourly
-Excellent opportunity for someone who prefers minimal physical activity and enjoys social interaction via the computer. Attention to detail is key in this position. Behavioral health experience will likely be beneficial to aid in communication skills.
-Expectation is to monitor patients to ensure they remain safe in their rooms. Staff will be able to communicate with the patients and redirect them. Nurse communication will also be possible.

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. The NA provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Provide assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities; bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meal preparation and dining needs, emotional and spiritual needs. Administer delegated tasks and treatments. Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
Will collect non-invasive biological specimens from patients as needed. Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare. Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy. Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms.
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
If working in North Dakota (ND) or Minnesota (MN) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the NA Registry as a Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Dept. of Health or through the Minnesota Dept. of Health within four months from the date of hire.
