JOB SUMMARY

Contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first hand experiences that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Work collaboratively with organization leadership, enhancing knowledge and skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare. Assist in the completion of projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned function and/or location. Attend training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Department Meetings

  • Enterprise Meetings

  • Steering Committees

  • PFAC - Patient and Family Advisory Council

  • Hero Award Ceremony and selection

  • Prepare for Night Council meetings

  • Assist with Customer Service and Empathy training, new employee orientation

  • Assist with Rounding

  • Assist with data analytics

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrates a basic understanding of organizational project management practices and tools. Researches business related data and generates and interprets basic analytics. Collaborates with departmental associates and management.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

Work inside and outside the hospital, in the hospital and clinics alongside the Lead Patient Experience Consultant to consult on how to improve the hospital/clinics for the patients and families. Assist in providing education to staff. Assist with data analytics and preparation of patient satisfaction reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current enrollment or recent graduate of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university.

Desired program of study: Patient Experience, Quality, Administration, Organizational Effectiveness, Business, Healthcare Management, Psychology, Nursing, Medicine, Hospitality, Customer Service, Service Excellence, Risk Management

Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
