JOB SUMMARY

Assists with patient recruitment and enrollment in clinics and laboratories. Specific duties include data collection, participant follow-up, data entry, and working with clinics and labs to promote enrollment. May be responsible for preparing biological specimens for shipping and storage. Provides assistance in presentation of recruitment and training materials in graphical, written, and oral formats. Promotes good clinical practices in the conduct of clinical research by ensuring compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements, and by collecting, recording and maintaining data and source documentation.Requires experience in data entry. Requires time management and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary especially with patients and healthcare providers. Must maintain confidential information.

Prior healthcare experience is preferred.

A basic knowledge of good clinical practices plus analytical and decision-making ability, effective oral and written communication skills, computer skills, and organizational ability required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate Degree required. Requires experience in data entry. Prior healthcare and phlebotomy experience desired.
