Hours Per Shift: 8 hr
Provide professional accounting expertise by integrating Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives. Provide reporting and analysis to support leadership in financial decisions. Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and maintaining the general ledger system for assigned entities. Must have working knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Must have excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills. Must have solid understanding of Global Accounting system and its applications. Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. Must demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. Must understand relationships between all designated Sanford facilities.
*This position will be filled in Fargo, ND or Sioux Falls, SD*
Sales Tax Expertise; Detail oriented and self directed. Accounting background with strong excel experience and ability to learn new software quickly.
CPA, CMA or other professional certification is desirable but not required. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare Administration. Accounting degree is preferred. Must have at least 2 years of related work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Must have working knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Must have excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills. Must have solid understanding of Global Accounting system and its applications. Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. Must demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. Must understand relationships between segments of SMC.
