Hours Per Shift: 8 hr
Provide leadership and expertise for clinical services to ensure optimum patient outcomes. The registered nurse is responsible to implement the nursing process within Sanford Health and the continuum of care. The nursing process is utilized to assess, diagnose, establish a plan with outcome criteria, intervene, evaluate, and document human responses to actual or potential health problems. This practice includes dependent, interdependent and independent functions.
Applicant will have strong organizational skills, great communication and teamwork, Applicant will have the ability to help conduct meetings and produce educational training ideas for staff. Add in overseeing the everyday duties of the OB/GYN department, conducting a daily huddle and being a resource for staff and leadership.
Requires current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state, or states, or practice. Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require licensure in the states where the patients being served reside. Certification may be required depending on specialty or service area. Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Must have three years of experience in a clinical setting. Must have a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques, and a working knowledge of administrative and management techniques.
