The registered nurse is responsible to implement the nursing process within Sanford Health and the continuum of care. The nursing process is utilized to assess, diagnose, establish a plan with outcome criteria, intervene, evaluate, and document human responses to actual or potential health problems. This practice includes dependent, interdependent and independent functions.
This is a full time RN position at the Sanford Bagley Medical Center. This position would train to both AM and PM shifts. There is a rotating weekend, holiday, and call obligation once orientation is complete. ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP certifications would need to be completed within one year of hire. This position is part of the Sanford Bagley RN MNA Union.
Requires current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state, or states, of practice. Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require licensure in the states where the patients being served reside. Certification may be required depending on specialty or service area. Must maintain current BLS certification. Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements. Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility. Additional training requirements for all RN's, which must be obtained within one year from date of hire, include ACLS and one of the following: TNCC, CALS, CATN, or ATCN.
