Job Schedule: Full Time
Hours Per Shift: 8 hr
To complete delegated functions of patient care in the home as assigned by a registered nurse. Duties may include bathing, personal cares, housekeeping tasks and errands
Home Health Aide travels to patients' homes and per care plan, provides assistance with personal cares, bathing and /or exercises.
Nursing assistant certificate required with additional home health aide training preferred. Valid drivers license required. High school graduate or high school equivalency diploma preferred. State approved nursing assistant course of at least 75 hours classroom and 15 hours HHA training, or satisfactory competency evaluation. 12 hours continuing education required annually. Satisfactorily completes a written competency test and performance test. Satisfactorily completes yearly competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credit for each year. One year nursing assistant experience preferred.
