Provide coaching, coordination, collaboration, and consultation with physicians, health team members, patients and families, and various other medical professionals regarding research-related activities to assure that protocol specifications are appropriately carried out and communicated. The registered nurse is responsible for the organization and implementation of the nursing process within Sanford and the continuum of care. The nursing process is utilized to assess, diagnose, establish a plan with outcome criteria, intervene, evaluate, and document human responses to actual or potential health problems. This practice includes dependent, interdependent and independent functions.


Will work with parents and children in a clinical research setting as part of a study on early childhood health outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting research assessments with participants, monitoring data collection in accordance with study protocols, and identify project needs to properly develop effective problem solving strategies. Additional responsibilities include data entry and study planning. The Senior Clinical Research Specialist is responsible for maintaining and developing their skills and techniques to meet the needs of the early childhood health outcomes project. Background and prior experience in administering early childhood development assessments is highly preferred. Requires experience in data entry and Microsoft office. Requires time management and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to maintain a strong research team. Must maintain confidential information.

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of clinical research or relevant research experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of clinical research

and certification from either SoCRA or ACRP as a Certified Clinical Research Professional, or Master’s degree in a health related field
