Job Title: Director, Facilities | Plaint Maint and Repair | Bemidji
Department : Plaint Maint and Repair
Job Schedule: Full Time
Hours Per Shift: 8 hr
Directs facility planning, operation and maintenance for a healthcare organization. Developing and executing strategic plans and long-range programs for healthcare facility management department. Overseeing facility staff and contractors to ensure compliance with organizational and governmental regulations. Consulting with and advising senior management relative to facility operations to ensure optimal functioning. Representing the facility at meetings with community organizations. Estimating, planning and controlling budget; assisting in construction planning for the healthcare facility.
Full-time, 80 hours every two weeks.
Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have a minimum of first class B Chief Minnesota boiler operator license. Bachelors' degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent work experience. Three years experience in managing projects. Knowledge and understanding of construction principles and techniques. Prior management experience preferred. Must have an understanding of blueprints and associated drawings and specifications. Must have understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems and facility maintenance.
