Job Title: Dietitian | Nutrition | Bemidji

Hours Per Shift: 8 hr
Plans, develops, and provides diet interventions, medical nutrition therapy, nutrition care and preventive counseling to individuals and groups in all areas of primary and specialty patient care, acute care, skilled nursing, and/or out-patient settings. Working on nutrition care protocols for the assigned patient area and acts as leader for the health care team in the implementation of the nutrition therapies. Providing dietary services and monitoring nutritional care of patients of all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Incorporating new trends and techniques as necessary to design patient care plan and update standards of care policy manuals and educational material. Educating on diet according to disease state, medical condition and health risk.
This position is for an employee who is able to work casual (as needed) hours, day shifts and weekends.
Must be registered by the Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed in the state(s) of practice as a licensed registered dietitian. Two years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian is preferred. Must have a thorough knowledge of normal and therapeutic nutrition. Knowledge of food service operations is desirable if working in hospital setting.
